Mini Sessions at Williams Tree Farm

I love Christmas and I love Christmas Photo Sessions! Actually, who doesn’t? I do a day of minis at Williams Tree Farm each year, and it’s always a hit! This particular tree farm actually has a very special place in my heart. My husband and I were married there 5 summers ago. Since then, it has become our tradition to return each year after Thanksgiving to pick out the perfect Christmas tree. We’ve enjoyed returning each year since our wedding, and now we enjoy showing our kids the farm and continuing the tradition with them as well.

Since becoming a photographer, I’ve decided to return to Williams not only once each year, but again for a photography day as well. This is the perfect location, and clients can enjoy the farm after their mini session! Many families plan to visit Santa, shop the gift shop, see the animals, and grab some food that same day. Some even select and cut down their own Christmas tree!

Clients love the Christmasy (but not overly “staged”) backdrop at Williams Tree Farm for their family photos, and many use these for their Holiday cards! I don’t include too many props or do an elaborate set up because honestly, the farm is beautiful as it is! I love letting the love and connection a family has really take over at each session- this makes for such touching images that families really cherish.
