Roscoe Illinois Newborn Session

Baby S was a whopping 9 pounds at birth. We did her session at 7 Days New and her little rolls were so cute! She was the sleepiest little thing when I arrived, but after a couple of poses she decided she didn’t want to miss out on anything and refused to shut her eyes for more than a blink! That’s the reality of newborn photography. You can prep and plan for a session all you want, but babies are humans too, and sometimes they have their own agenda. And that is totally okay! As a photographer, it’s my job to keep calm and keep the baby relaxed and happy. After wrapping her up, topping her off with a little milk, and doing a little rocking, S did fall asleep for the rest of her session. Looking at her snoozing so peacefully makes me swoon!
