For my son’s first birthday I knew I wanted to do a Sun theme! I love the “First Trip around the Sun” or “You are my SONshine” trend! However, I personally gravitate towards more clean and simple set ups than any of the inspiration photos I found on Social Media. I also don’t love the color yellow, so I knew I wanted my backdrop to be mostly blue, with just a pop of yellow in the sun. I usually create a digital mockup of my cake smash setup design, to help me visualize what it will look like, that way I can make any major changes prior to ordering materials and printing cutouts. Here’s what I came up with, and I love it!
